North East Public School Rowta is established and started its academic session in 2016-17 at Hatkola, 1.5 km away from Rowta Chariali near NH 15 (Old NH 52) as a result of the untiring effort of the SMC members, under the Presidentship of Mr. Maheswar Brahma, with a view of providing and offering quality education to all the students with maximum modern learning facilities.
The school is situated in an open space away from noise pollution at the side of the main town towards the East. The school has good infrastructure with design building, well qualified and experienced staff, computer learning lab, Auditorium, Garden, Children Playgrounds, Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with greater nourishment and care, Guardian waiting shed, hygienic canteen, etc. in the school campus.
In addition to this, importance was also laid on child security. Special attention will be paid to each and every student of NEPS inside the campus. Considering the problem of security, full-time Security Guard at the gate in addition to the modern electronic device like C.C.T.V. camera, Bio-metric machine, fire extinguisher, etc. are to provide for better safety and security.
